Finding the Right Department
Most of what residents actually need from town government, paying a bill, pulling a permit, reporting a problem, registering to vote, runs through a department, not an elected official. Each one reports to the Town Manager, who appoints the people who lead them.
The directory below covers the departments residents reach for most. For the full list, with hours and staff, visit saugus-ma.gov. The main Town Hall line is 781-231-4124.
