Spencer Town Departments
Finding the Right Department
Most of what residents need from the town runs through a department, not an elected official: paying a bill, pulling a permit, reporting a problem, registering to vote. Each department reports up to the Town Administrator.
One thing to notice about Spencer: there is no single Department of Public Works. Roads, water, sewer and trash are four separate departments with four separate phone numbers, so the first question is which one owns your problem. The directory below covers the departments residents contact most. The town keeps its own Departments index, and its full Staff Directory lists every department with its address, phone and staff. Town Hall is at 157 Main Street.
