Saugus Action Volunteers for the Environment (SAVE) Founded in 1973, a 501(c)(3) promoting recycling and composting, protecting open space, and running environmental education in Saugus.
Saugus River Watershed Council Founded in 1991 to protect and restore the Saugus River watershed — water quality, habitat, fisheries, and public access.
Theatre Company of Saugus Founded in 1968 as the “Town-Criers,” this community theatre produces several amateur plays each year.
Saugus Historical Society Preserves and shares the town’s history, from the Iron Works era to the present.

Food & Family Support

Organization Notes
Saugus United Parish Food Pantry A collaboration of Saugus churches at Cliftondale Congregational Church, open Fridays 9:30–11 a.m.; partners with the Greater Boston Food Bank and provides Thanksgiving baskets.
Saugus Family YMCA Youth programs, fitness, and family services serving Saugus and surrounding towns.
Saugus Council on Aging / Senior Center A town department working with community partners to serve older residents.
