Finding the Right Department
Most services residents need — paying a bill, pulling a permit, reporting a problem, registering to vote — run through a city department rather than an elected official. In Methuen’s strong-mayor government, department heads are appointed by and report to the Mayor.
The directory below covers the departments residents contact most. For the full list, hours, and staff, visit methuen.gov. The main City Hall line is 978-983-8500.
