Who Represents Seekonk

Seekonk sits whole inside one state representative district and one state senate district, which makes this simpler here than it is in a town split down the middle: there is no line to check before you write. One state representative, one state senator, one member of Congress, and the Commonwealth’s two U.S. senators. Five names, and between them they cover everything from a state road through town to a federal tax rule.

State Senator

Ten communities share this senator, which is the ordinary shape of a Massachusetts Senate district and worth knowing when you write: your letter arrives in an office that is also weighing Wareham’s and Taunton’s version of the same problem. Dooner won the seat in 2024, and she is a former Taunton City Council president.

State Representative

Howitt is a third-generation Seekonk resident who served on the town’s Planning Board and its Board of Selectmen before winning the House seat in 2010, and he is now the ranking minority member of the Joint Committee on Transportation. A state representative files bills, votes the state budget, and can chase a state agency on a constituent’s behalf, which is often the fastest use of the office. All of Seekonk is his district, so the office takes your call whichever end of town you live in.

In Washington

All of Seekonk sits in the 4th Congressional District, which runs from the Rhode Island line up through Attleboro and Franklin toward Newton. Massachusetts is represented in the U.S. Senate by Elizabeth Warren, the senior senator, and Edward J. Markey, the junior senator, both Democrats, and both of them represent every town in the state, Seekonk included.

Find Your Exact Legislator

Seekonk is not split, so the answer will be the same at every address in town. It is still worth running the lookup once, because it also gives you your polling place and your precinct, and both matter in April. Either tool takes about ten seconds:
