Seekonk is a town of about 15,500 people spread across 18.4 square miles on the Rhode Island line, which works out to roughly 844 residents per square mile. Registered Voters
Massachusetts publishes voter-registration counts by town through the Secretary of the Commonwealth; the counts below are the state’s enrollment snapshot from February 1, 2025. As in most of the state, Seekonk’s largest bloc by far is voters who choose no party at all, and in Massachusetts an unenrolled voter can still take either party’s ballot in a primary. That makes them the bloc every candidate has to win.

Local elections are where those registrations do the most work per ballot. On April 6, 2026 the Town Clerk counted 1,321 ballots out of 12,775 registered voters, a turnout of 10.34 percent, and that group of neighbors filled two Select Board seats, a School Committee seat, the Town Moderator’s chair, the Town Clerk’s office, the Board of Assessors, two Library Trustee seats, a five-year Planning Board seat, and a Water Commissioner. One ballot is worth a great deal in a town election, and it is the same ballot you will get at 18.
