Rockland Town Departments
Finding the Right Department
Most of what residents need from the town runs through a department, not an elected official: paying a bill, pulling a permit, reporting a problem, registering to vote. Each one reports up through the Town Administrator’s office, and the charter gives that office the lead role in hiring the people who run them.
The directory below covers the departments residents contact most. For the full list, hours and staff, visit rockland-ma.gov. Town Hall is at 242 Union Street and the main line is 781-871-1874.
