Community Organizations
Local history, a food pantry, a rail trail kept up by volunteers, a foundation that funds classroom projects, and a newsroom that carries your own town meetings. Every organization on this page takes volunteers, and several of them are how a resident with no title at all ends up in the room.

| Holliston Historical Society | Enriches the community by preserving and communicating Holliston’s history. Runs a members’ programme of lectures and historical portrayals, an annual Father’s Day car show and breakfast, and rentals of its own buildings. |
| Friends of Holliston Trails | Maintains the town’s 6.7 mile multi-purpose rail trail and hosts family events on it. Its own count is more than 10,000 volunteer hours since 1998, and it takes new volunteers every season. |
| Holliston Pantry Shelf | Provides food assistance to Holliston residents, in its own words with dignity and compassion. Its annual SOUPerBowl fundraiser ran again on February 6, 2026, and Holliston police officers have served at it. |
| Holliston Education Foundation | Raises money for grants, study opportunities and programmes that enhance public education in Holliston, and partners with teachers on classroom projects the school budget does not reach. |
| Holliston Cable Access | Holliston Cable Access Television records and streams the town’s own meetings and local programming. Annual Town Meeting voted its support as Article 22 on May 11, 2026, so this is a newsroom the town itself funds by a floor vote. |
| Holliston Reporter | The town’s own online newspaper, whose masthead reads Local Reporting by Local People. It carries town news, the community calendar, and departmental columns written by the Police and Fire chiefs themselves. |
| Holliston Public Library | The town’s public library at 752 Washington Street, 508-429-0617. Holliston voters elect its six Library Trustees on the annual town ballot, one of eleven bodies filled by election here. |
