Finding the Right Department
Almost everything you notice about your city, the paved road, the inspected restaurant, the plowed sidewalk, the issued permit, is the work of a city department. Haverhill’s departments collect the taxes, maintain the streets, guard public health, and back up residents, and most of them sit at or near City Hall, 4 Summer Street.
