Framingham Departments
Finding the Right Department
Almost everything you think of as “the city” is really a department. Framingham runs roughly three dozen of them, handling the daily business most people never think about until they need it: paying a tax bill, pulling a building permit, getting the trash picked up, keeping the water safe, fixing the street. Every department head is appointed by the mayor and reports to the mayor.
The directory below points you to the offices residents call most. For the full list, hours, and staff contacts, go to the department pages on framinghamma.gov. City Hall is the Memorial Building at 150 Concord Street, and the main line is 508-532-5411.
