Stefan Czaporowski
Stefan Czaporowski is Superintendent of the Westfield Public Schools, leading a PK–12 district that serves about 4,725 students across nine schools. As superintendent he oversees curriculum, budget, staffing, and district operations, and works with the School Committee to set policy and long-range plans — including ongoing work on a new comprehensive high school. He is the district’s chief spokesperson on safety, academics, and community partnerships under the district’s motto, “Achieving Excellence Together.”

The School Committee
Westfield has a seven-member School Committee. The Mayor serves as chairperson by virtue of holding that office, joined by six members elected by residents to four-year terms. The committee sets policy, adopts the school budget, and hires the superintendent.
