Community Organizations
Local history, lifelong learning, open space and a newsroom that carries your own town meetings. Every organization on this page takes volunteers, and several of them are how a resident with no title at all ends up in the room.

| Westford Historical Society and Museum | Founded to study Westford history and to collect and preserve the manuscripts and artifacts that carry it. Runs the Westford Museum. |
| Roudenbush Community Center | Lifelong learning for all ages: classes in arts and fitness, preschool, and before and after school care. Its own oversight committee is appointed by the Town Manager under the town charter. |
| Westford Conservation Trust | Preserves and protects Westford’s open space and natural resources, publishes a trail guide, and takes volunteers to maintain trails and manage invasive plants. |
| WestfordCAT | Westford Community Access Television, and the town’s local newsroom. It carries Select Board and School Committee meetings live and on demand, publishes local news, takes reader submissions and letters to the editor, and teaches production classes. |
| J.V. Fletcher Library | The town’s public library. Its Library Trustees are one of the seven bodies Westford voters elect directly, so this is a board you can run for. |
