Community Organizations
A library you elect the trustees of, a land trust that maps the trails, a food pantry, a newspaper that covers your Town Meeting and a station that records it. Every one of them takes volunteers, and several are how a resident with no title at all ends up in the room.

| Westborough Public Library | The town’s public library, founded in 1857. Its Trustees are one of the seven bodies Westborough voters elect directly under charter section 3-1(a), so this is a board you can run for. |
| Westborough Community Land Trust | A volunteer land trust that protects open space in Westborough and maintains and maps the town’s trails. The town’s own Open Space Preservation Committee links to it as a partner. |
| Westborough Food Pantry | Provides groceries and support to Westborough households that need them, and it runs on donations and volunteers. |
| Westborough TV | The town’s public, educational and government access station. It records every Select Board meeting and posts it on demand, carries School Committee meetings live on Charter channel 13 and Verizon channel 26, and teaches production to residents who want to make their own programs. |
| Community Advocate | The weekly newspaper that covers Westborough town government, schools and business, along with Northborough, Southborough, Marlborough, Shrewsbury and Hudson. If a Town Meeting article is going to be argued about before the vote, it is usually argued about here first. |
