Community Organizations
Local history, gardens and wildlife, a public library, and a newsroom that carries your own town meetings. Every organization on this page takes volunteers, and several of them are how a resident with no title at all ends up in the room.

| Sandwich Glass Museum | Run by the Sandwich Historical Society, founded in 1907, which held its first glass exhibition in 1925. A town history museum and a contemporary studio glass gallery, with rotating exhibits and glassblowing demonstrations. |
| Heritage Museums & Gardens | A museum and garden campus in Sandwich built around Cape Cod’s history, art and natural beauty, with exhibits, gardens and events for all ages. |
| Thornton Burgess Society | Runs the Green Briar Nature Center and Jam Kitchen in East Sandwich. Its stated mission is to inspire reverence for wildlife and concern for the natural environment as taught in the writings of the conservationist and naturalist Thornton W. Burgess. |
| Sandwich Community Media | The public communications hub for the Town of Sandwich, informing and connecting residents through local television, radio and digital programming. It carries local government live and on demand on its government channel and keeps the recordings, so a meeting you missed is still a meeting you can watch. |
| Sandwich Public Library | The town’s public library at 142 Main Street. Its nine trustees are one of the bodies Sandwich voters elect directly under charter section 4.1, so this is a board you can run for. |
