Hilltown Community Development Corporation A membership-based nonprofit serving Middlefield and the surrounding Hilltowns with affordable housing, small-business support, homebuyer training, and community facility projects.
Country Journal The weekly newspaper of the Hilltowns, published by Turley Publications, covering Middlefield and its neighbors.
Middlefield Cultural Council A town-based council that awards small grants for arts, humanities, and science programs in the community, part of the statewide Mass Cultural Council network.

Middlefield Public Library & Trustees The town’s small public library, overseen by an elected Board of Library Trustees, with a card that works at libraries across Massachusetts. Hours and contact are listed on the town website.
Middlefield Council on Aging Outreach, resources, and programs for older residents, run through the town. 413-623-2079, ext. 9.
