Registered Voters

Massachusetts publishes voter-registration counts by town through the Secretary of the Commonwealth. As in most of the state, the voters who choose no party at all are Middlefield’s largest bloc by far, and because the unenrolled can pull either party’s primary ballot, they are the bloc every candidate has to win. Among the two major parties, Middlefield registers about twice as many Democrats as Republicans.

  • Total registered: 373
  • Unenrolled (no party): 224 (60.05%)
  • Democrats: 93 (24.93%)
  • Republicans: 48 (12.87%)
