Academic Performance & Context

Malden teaches a high share of students who are English learners, who come from low-income families, or who are otherwise designated high needs. A widely cited 2013 analysis of federal data ranked Malden High the most racially diverse public high school in Massachusetts, and it still lands near the top of diversity rankings today.
