The executive branch enforces laws, manages agencies, and delivers services across Massachusetts. It’s led by the Governor, Lieutenant Governor, and their executive teams.

Lieutenant Governor Kim Driscoll

Supports the Governor and chairs the Governor’s Council on judicial appointments.

Governor’s Council

The Governor’s Council reviews judicial nominees, pardons, and warrants for state funds. There are eight elected members:
