Who Pays For It
Erving votes its school money in two separate warrant articles, and you can see both in the Annual Town Meeting warrant. For fiscal year 2027 the town raised and appropriated $3,867,031 to operate Erving Elementary School, and a further $1,288,622 for secondary education, which is what it costs to send Erving’s grade 7 to 12 students to the Gill-Montague Regional School District and to Franklin County Technical School. Both figures passed at the Annual Town Meeting on May 13, 2026, by a show of hands.
