Finding the Right Department

Most of what residents need from Clarksburg runs through a department, not an elected official: paying a tax bill, pulling a road opening permit, licensing a dog, registering to vote. In a town this size a department is often one person, and the extension you dial is the extension that answers. Nearly all of them sit in the same building.

The directory below covers the offices residents contact most. For the full list, hours and forms, visit clarksburgma.gov/departments. Town Hall is at 111 River Road, open Monday to Thursday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, with a main line of (413) 663-7940.
