Who Represents Berlin
All of Berlin sits in a single state representative district and a single state senate district, so there is no line to check before you write: the same five people speak for every address in town. One state representative and one state senator carry Berlin’s business on Beacon Hill, one member of Congress carries it in Washington, and the Commonwealth’s two U.S. senators represent the entire state, Berlin included. Between them they cover everything from a town road project to a federal education rule.
State Senator
First Worcester District · Democrat
Robyn K. Kennedy

The First Worcester district gathers Berlin with several neighboring towns and part of the city of Worcester, so one senator carries the school-funding, housing and transportation questions of the whole cluster. All of Berlin sits inside it, which means there is no district line to check before you write.
State Representative
Berlin is not split between House districts, so one representative speaks for the entire town. She files bills, votes the state budget, and can chase a state agency on a constituent’s behalf, which is often the fastest use of the office.

In Washington
All of Berlin sits in the 3rd Congressional District, which runs across north-central Massachusetts from the Merrimack Valley to Worcester County. Massachusetts is represented in the U.S. Senate by Elizabeth Warren, the senior senator, and Edward J. Markey, the junior senator, both Democrats.
