Finding the Right Department
Most of what residents need from the town runs through a department, not an elected official: paying a bill, pulling a permit, reporting a problem, registering to vote. In a town this size many offices share one building and one main phone line, and each answers to the elected Select Board, with the Town Administrator helping to oversee the daily work.
