Community Organizations

A lot of what makes Walpole work is done by volunteers: the food pantry runs with no paid staff, a friends group stewards the town’s farm, and a historical society keeps the record. These are established organizations where a resident, including a student, can plug in.

Walpole Community Food Pantry	All-volunteer pantry serving Walpole since 1993; more than 80 volunteers pack and deliver food weekly to more than 300 families.
Friends of Adams Farm	Volunteer group that stewards Adams Farm, the roughly 365 acres of town-owned trails and fields bought after the 1997 override vote.
Walpole Historical Society	Preserves and shares Walpole’s history from its research center and collections.
Friends of the Walpole Public Library	Supports library programs, museum passes, and events.
