Community Organizations

Rowley is served by a small network of nonprofits and community groups that feed neighbors, keep the town’s history, and cover its news. Every one of them takes volunteers.

Rowley Public Library	The town library at 141 Main Street, lending books and e-resources and running programs for children, teens and adults.
Rowley Food Pantry	A volunteer-run nonprofit at 153 Main Street that provides free groceries to Rowley residents, open Tuesday mornings and the first and third Thursday evening of each month.
Rowley Historical Society	Founded in 1918, the society preserves and opens the Platts-Bradstreet House, a First Period home on Main Street built about 1677 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
The Local News	A reader-supported nonprofit weekly whose coverage includes Rowley alongside Ipswich, Topsfield and Boxford.
Rowley Community Media	The town’s public-access media operation, which records and streams Board of Selectmen and other public meetings for residents who cannot attend in person.

Rowley Agricultural Commission	Runs the summer Farmers’ Market on the Town Common and the annual Rowley Agricultural Day, keeping the town’s farming tradition public.
