Community Organizations
Richmond is small, but its volunteers do a great deal of the work of keeping the town rural and connected: conserving land, protecting the pond, and keeping the town’s history. Every one of these organizations takes volunteers.

| Richmond Pond Association | A resident association founded in 2000 that monitors water quality and controls invasive plants on Richmond Pond through testing and education. |
| Richmond Historical Society | Preserves and shares the town’s history and helps run community events, including the annual fall pie social with the Land Trust and the Richmond Civic Association. |
