What Happens After Grade 6
DESE publishes no four-year graduation rate for Farmington River Regional, because the district enrolls no high school students. Its own annual report explains where they go instead: the district holds tuition agreements with the Berkshire Hills Regional School District and the Lee Public Schools for grades 7 through 12, and parents and students choose between the two. On the October 2025 count, 15 Otis students were at Berkshire Hills and 24 were at Lee, and the district buses to both. Vocational school placements are arranged by the student’s own town rather than by the district, so an Otis family asking about a vocational programme starts at Town Hall.
