Littleton Town Departments

Finding the Right Department

Most of what residents need from the town runs through a department, not an elected official: paying a bill, pulling a permit, reporting a problem, registering to vote. Most departments report up to the Town Administrator, who appoints most of the department heads under the town by-law. Your electricity and water are the exception: they belong to the Littleton Electric Light and Water Departments, a municipal utility with its own elected board of five commissioners.

The directory below covers the departments residents contact most. For the full list, hours, and staff, visit littletonma.org. Town Hall is at 37 Shattuck Street.
