Who Represents Beverly
Beverly is compact enough that the whole city sits in a single state House district and a single state Senate district, so every resident shares the same two legislators on Beacon Hill. Joan B. Lovely
Senator Lovely, a Salem Democrat, has held the Second Essex seat since 2013. Her district stretches across several North Shore communities, with Beverly among its largest. She has served in Senate leadership and works on budget and revenue policy.
State Representative
Representative Bowen, a Beverly Democrat and former city councilor, won the 6th Essex seat in a special election in May 2025 and is serving her first full term. The district covers the entire city, so she is the one state representative for every Beverly address.

In Washington
All of Beverly sits in the 6th Congressional District, represented by U.S. Representative Seth Moulton, a Democrat from Salem who has held the seat since 2015. Massachusetts is represented in the U.S. Senate by Elizabeth Warren, the senior senator, and Edward J. Markey, the junior senator. Both were first elected to the Senate in 2013.
