A food pantry that has fed three towns for thirty years, the volunteers who tend Upton State Forest, and the society that keeps the town’s own memory. Every organization on this page takes volunteers, and several of them are how a resident with no title at all ends up in the room.

Daily Bread Food Pantry An ecumenical food pantry that has served Milford, Hopedale and Upton for more than thirty years, distributing groceries from 21 Exchange Street in Milford. It runs on volunteers and donations.
Friends of Upton State Forest A nonprofit that works to preserve, enhance and protect the natural and historic resources of Upton State Forest, and organizes trail work, guided walks and stewardship days that anyone can join.
Upton History Museum and Historical Society Formed in 1968 to collect and preserve the records, artifacts and folklore of Upton, and to run the town’s history museum. Reach it at PO Box 171, Upton, or 508-529-6600.
Milford FreePress A community newspaper whose Upton and Mendon edition covers town government, the schools and local events, and takes reader submissions.
