Norwell and the wider South Shore are served by a network of non-profits providing home health care, the arts, local history and outdoor learning. These are some of the largest and most established, and every one of them takes volunteers.

NVNA and Hospice An independent nonprofit home health, palliative and hospice agency founded in 1920 and based in Norwell, serving communities across the South Shore.
Norwell Historical Society Preserves and shares Norwell’s local history, events and heritage.
South Shore YMCA Natural Science Center A Norwell nature center offering interactive outdoor learning and trails on its preserve.
