Hopedale Select Board
About the Board
The Select Board is elected town-wide, so every Hopedale voter helps choose all three members, and each serves a three-year term on a staggered schedule that puts one seat on the ballot each spring. The board sets town policy, signs the warrants that decide what Town Meeting gets to vote on, appoints the department heads, and appoints and supervises the Town Administrator who coordinates the town day to day. When a daily problem becomes town policy, this is the room where it happens.

- Controls the warrant, deciding what business reaches Town Meeting for a vote.
Board Members
All three members are elected town-wide to staggered three-year terms: Glenda Hazard chairs the board with a term running to 2027, Bernard Stock serves to 2028, and Carole Mullen serves to 2029.

Meetings & How to Participate
- When: the second and fourth Monday of the month at 6:30 pm in the Draper Room at Hopedale Town Hall, 54 Hopedale Street, in person and on Zoom. After a Monday holiday the meeting moves to Tuesday.
- Agendas & minutes: posted in advance on the town website at hopedale-ma.gov.
- Public comment: residents may address the board. Check the agenda for the procedure.
- Town Meeting: for the budget and bylaws, the deciding vote belongs to the registered voters in the hall, which can include you.
Public hearings and meetings are where residents shape town decisions.
