Hamilton, Massachusetts
Hamilton Community Organizations
A food pantry, the library the two towns run together, a fund for the schools, and a community newsroom that carries your own town meetings. Every organization on this page takes volunteers, and several of them are how a resident with no title at all ends up in the room.
Community Organizations
| Organization | What they do & contact |
|---|---|
| Acord Food Pantry | A volunteer-run, non-denominational food pantry that has served residents of Hamilton, Wenham and nearby towns since 1991, hosted at Christ Church of Hamilton and Wenham. |
| Hamilton-Wenham Public Library | The public library the two towns run together, at 14 Union Street. The library’s trustees are among the offices Hamilton and Wenham voters fill directly at the ballot box, so this is a board you can run for. |
| Hamilton-Wenham Education Fund | A local nonprofit that raises private money for grants and programs across the Hamilton-Wenham Regional School District. |
| HWCAM | Hamilton-Wenham Community Access Media, the community newsroom. It carries Select Board and School Committee meetings live and on demand, publishes local coverage, and teaches production classes. |
