Beacon Hill & Washington
Easthampton Your Legislators
One District, All Five Precincts
Plenty of Massachusetts cities are cut in half by a state representative district line, so that the person who speaks for your street depends on which side of town you live on. Easthampton is not one of them. All five precincts sit in the 2nd Hampshire district, so every voter in the city has the same state representative, and the whole city has the same state senator too. That makes the delegation short and it makes it easy to reach: two people carry Easthampton on Beacon Hill.

Look Up Any Legislator
Every legislator in Massachusetts is on one page, with the committees they sit on and the bills they have filed. That is how you find the ones already working on the thing you care about, even when they are not yours.
Your city government is the closer half of the same machinery.
