The School Committee
The Brookfield Elementary School Committee has three members, elected by the town’s voters, who oversee Brookfield Elementary. The committee sets district policy, approves the elementary school budget, and works with the Superintendent who runs the school day to day. Its meetings are public, which means a Brookfield resident who shows up can speak. Because Brookfield students attend the regional Tantasqua schools for grades 7 to 12, the town also holds seats on the Tantasqua Regional School District committee, which is elected across the five member towns.
