Berkley, Massachusetts

Berkley Community Organizations

Berkley is a small town, and much of its community life runs through a handful of volunteer groups, its library, and the local press. These are the ones a resident is most likely to turn to, and every one of them welcomes a hand.

Getting Involved

  • Volunteer with the Council on Aging or the library, both of which lean on residents to run programs.
  • Serve on a town board. Many of Berkley’s boards and commissions are staffed by volunteers appointed by the Board of Selectmen.
  • Show up to Town Meeting. The most direct community organization in Berkley is the meeting itself, where every registered voter has a vote.
